Game Day Sweet & Salty Snack Bar

January 21, 2018 by Laura Tucker 1 Comment

This post was sponsored by Funky Chunky® as part of an Influencer Activation for Influence Central and all opinions expressed in my post are my own.

It’s no secret that there’s something sacred about game days and football here in the south. We love to celebrate big during game days, and we especially like to show up and show out during championship games, playoffs and bowl games! We’re still living it up big after a majorly successful year of collegiate football here in the great state of Alabama, but now we’re switching gears and are huddling up for The Big Game at the professional level coming up in February!

Amp up your game day celebrations with the ultimate sweet & salty snack bar featuring the Funky Chunky Crowd Pleaser Tin! #FunkyChunkyParty #IC #ad…

Honey Ginger Venison and Jasmine Rice Bowls

January 20, 2018 by Laura Tucker Leave a Comment

This post was sponsored by NAKANO® Rice Vinegars as part of an Influencer Activation for Influence Central and all opinions expressed in my post are my own.

Walking into the new year, I was a little bit disappointed in myself for not making as many game-changing resolutions to hold on to for 2018. I’m typically one to make out my goals and resolutions well in advance and have them on display in my office for me to look at every day. However, seeing as how I kept my head in a toilet nearly all of the month of December (morning sickness is for the birds, y’all) I feel like I was doing pretty good to jot down just a few simple and out of the box goals I wanted to move towards in 2018.

If you're looking to make a few new changes this year, consider adding leaner meats to your diet, such as delicious venison featured in this recipe for Honey Ginger Venison and Jasmine Rice Bowls! It's a simple and scrumptious way to pack in extra flavor to your meal without having a heavy fat content! #NAKANONewYear #NewYearSwaps #IC #ad…

January 11, 2018 by Laura Tucker Leave a Comment

Things are finally starting to settle down a little bit here in the Tucker house. November was quite a whirlwind as we were busy putting the finishing touches on our brand new home that was being built, packing up all of our belongings to move, and hosting my family in our new abode just 2 days after we moved in. Whew, I get a little dizzy all over again just thinking about all of those things again! It’s definitely good to finally be settling down a bit, that’s for sure.

When you decide to start planning your family, it can be overwhelming trying to understand your body and learn when the best time to try for a baby is. The Clearblue Connected Ovulation Test System is helping us plan for the future in a really big way! #ClearblueConnected #ClearbluePartner…

Valentine’s Day Pillow Covers to Fall in Love With!

January 5, 2018 by Laura Tucker 1 Comment

Affiliate links are included throughout this post at absolutely no cost to you.

Once the Christmas decor is taken down from the shelves in stores, heart shaped boxes of chocolate, stuffed animals and candy hearts immediately start taking their place in preparation for Valentine’s Day. In previous years I’ve never decorated much for Valentine’s Day, but it’s mostly because I’ve never found much Valentine-y decor that I actually liked. A few years ago I posted a roundup of a few of my favorite Valentine’s Day Farmhouse Decor finds that I scored on Amazon (my favorite place to shop) and this year I was really pleasantly surprised at their selection of pillow covers!

Creamy Avocado Chicken Salad Wraps + Free Printable!

January 2, 2018 by Laura Tucker Leave a Comment

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Mission®. All opinions are entirely my own.

Let’s talk about goals, shall we? Goals and resolutions are two popular buzz words that always float around during this time of year, and people have been busy planning out all of the things they hope to accomplish or change as they start another trip around the sun. I, too, make a list of goals that I want to accomplish every year, and I love being surrounded by true goal-diggers who help keep me motivated long past the end of January. I’m not typically one who can persevere through obstacles on her own without a little support from friends and family, so having a cheer squad to help me achieve my goals is pivotal for me.

Keep your new year's resolutions in check with these low carb Creamy Avocado Chicken Salad Wraps made with Mission Carb Balance Soft Flour Tortillas! #ad #MissionToChange #Sweepstakes…

How I’m Kicking my Cough and Sore Throat to the Curb

We’ve been moved into our home for exactly 6 days now. I use the term “moved in” pretty loosely, seeing as how so much of our stuff is still in boxes and is very slowly beginning to be opened. We moved into our brand new home that we’ve been building for a full year exactly 2 days before family came over to stay the night for the Thanksgiving holiday. It was such a joyous time to get to host my family in our home that we’re so very proud of, but there’s no denying that it was pretty stressful, and my body felt like it was moving non-stop day in and day out!

How We’re Keeping Germs at Bay During the Holidays

December 22, 2017 by Laura Tucker Leave a Comment

This post was sponsored by GOJO, the makers of PURELL® Multi Surface Disinfectant, as part of an Influencer Activation for Influence Central and all opinions expressed in my post are my own.

We’ve been a bunch of busy bees buzzing around our nest getting things ready for a family Christmas gathering taking place at our house tonight! Even though we’ve been in our brand new home for less than a month, there was still a lot of tidying up that needed to take place (and a lot of cardboard boxes that needed to be hidden away in the closets, let’s just be real!)

One of the things that makes the holiday season so merry and bright is celebrating and spending time with friends, family and those you hold dear. We had the privilege of hosting my family in our new home for a few days during Thanksgiving, and while things will look a little bit different for Christmas, we’re still fortunate enough to host a party this week at our house filled with many of my family members that don’t get to see each other very often. It’s something we’ve all been looking forward to for a long time now, and I’m so happy that I get to have the role as host of the gathering!
