Things are finally starting to settle down a little bit here in the Tucker house. November was quite a whirlwind as we were busy putting the finishing touches on our brand new home that was being built, packing up all of our belongings to move, and hosting my family in our new abode just 2 days after we moved in. Whew, I get a little dizzy all over again just thinking about all of those things again! It’s definitely good to finally be settling down a bit, that’s for sure.
Several months back, my husband and I had a conversation about when the time might be right for us to start planning for another little Tucker tot to come along. Our daughter is 2 1/2 years old now, and we always knew that we didn’t want to space our children out much farther than about 3 years. Realizing that the time is now here, we decided to try things a little bit differently than we did the first go-round.
Before we got pregnant with our daughter, we didn’t use any sort of ovulation scheduling or fertility predictions to help us understand when my peak fertility would be. We just did things our own way, and were pretty disappointed month after month when we weren’t getting the results we were hoping for. It crossed my mind after a few months in to look into trying an ovulation testing system to help me better understand my body and cycles, but we wound up using a random app we found that only left us even more confused than when we started.
This time around, we’re putting our trust in the Clearblue® Connected Ovulation Test System, which is the first and only system to track two unique hormones while connecting to a smartphone to help users track and monitor their cycles without any fuss or confusion. With the Clearblue® Connected Ovulation Test System, I am better able to understand when my most fertile days are because it recognizes my hormone data rather than using a standardized algorithm. I can also compare previous cycles to share the information with my OB or other healthcare professionals if needed in the future.
The Clearblue® Connected Ovulation Test System also maximizes the chance of getting pregnant as it typically identifies four or more best days to get pregnant, two more days than any other ovulation brand on the market.2 The test is easy to use and displays a smiley face on a digital face screen on my most fertile days, and it syncs with the app to set up digital reminders, results, and store personal fertility information available to me at the touch of a button.
With the possibility of another baby joining our family in the future, it’s become very important to us to know when the timing is right for us to be able to grow our family, and the Clearblue® Connected Ovulation Test System has made our journey to conceive a positive and stress-free experience!
As far as when another Tucker tot will be coming along, that’s another post for another day. Stay tuned! 😉
