VBS 2018 may be coming to a close in your neck of the woods, but fret not! The brilliant minds at Lifeway have been getting the ball rolling on their quest to make VBS 2019 the very best one yet! Earlier this afternoon I was anxiously awaiting their theme announcement on Facebook Live (shown on their Facebook page) and was ooh-ing and aah-ing at all of the magnificent fun it’s going to be!

VBS 2018 has officially kicked off with the start of this new month! You may have seen my posts about Game On, Shipwrecked and Splash Canyon (3 popular VBS themes for this year) floating around the world wide web – and it’s because I absolutely LOVE Vacation Bible School and all that it entails!

It may (or may not) come to a surprise to you that even though VBS hasn’t even started at my own home church just yet, I’m already looking ahead to VBS 2019 to see what all the buzz is about! On June 1st, Cokesbury announced the brand new theme set to take off for 2019, and we’re all in for a treat that’s totally out of this world!

Our Summer of Adventure with Minnetonka

June 1, 2018 by Laura Tucker 1 Comment

I received Minnetonka product and compensation in exchange for my honest review. However, all opinions expressed within this post are 100% my own. I only promote what I truly love!

This summer is really shaping up to be a great one so far, and we’re hoping to add lots of adventure and fun to our calendar to keep the good times rolling! At 7 months pregnant (and due at the very beginning of August,) I’m really trying to make this summer a memorable one for our little girl before her baby sister arrives. While I don’t have very long spurts of energy these days, I get pretty pumped at the idea of going to a fun new destination for a little family time!

Many of us across the country are still making preparations for VBS 2018 to kick off at our local churches, but Group VBS (the masterminds behind 2018’s Shipwrecked theme) just announced their theme for next summer, and it has us all ready to make some serious noise!

Preserving Special Moments for Father’s Day with FoodSaver® GameSaver®

May 29, 2018 by Laura Tucker Leave a Comment

This post is sponsored by Everywhere Agency on behalf of FoodSaver®; however, all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.

With Father’s Day quickly approaching, I’ve been reflecting a lot on the numerous qualities of my husband and his own father (pictured below) that have had a wonderful and positive impact on our family and how we will raise our own children over the years to come. I could name off a laundry list of character traits they both possess that make them the incredible men that they are, but one thing they both have in common that I am particularly fond of is their field-to-table philosophy that has proven to be beneficial to our family is so many ways!

My Biggest Pregnancy Craving & How I’m Enjoying it Guilt Free!

May 18, 2018 by Laura Tucker Leave a Comment

This post was sponsored by Hood as part of an Influencer Activation for Influence Central and all opinions expressed in my post are my own.

Now that I’ve entered my 3rd trimester of pregnancy, things are starting to get a little more hectic around our household. My toddler has done her very best over the past several months to sort-of ignore the fact that a new little girl will be stripping her of her “only child” title, and she can totally sense something is going on as I begin to nest and make preparations for her baby sister. She has been actively demanding ALL of my attention, and certainly not cutting me any slack when it comes to me lacking energy and not being able to get down on the floor and play with her. She’s definitely been keeping me on my toes, and as a result I’ve been slacking a good bit on taking care of my own personal needs. My Biggest Pregnancy Craving - & How I'm Enjoying it Guilt Free! #CalorieCountdown #IC #ad …

Healthy Patriotic Snacks for Kids

May 16, 2018 by Laura Tucker 2 Comments

Affiliate links may be included throughout this post at absolutely no cost to you. Healthy Patriotic Snacks for Kids are a fun and delicious way to celebrate our great country, and I love sharing my favorite finds with you!

With Memorial Day right around the corner and Independence Day quickly approaching, I’ve started my annual hunt for the cutest seasonal snacks and crafts on Pinterest  (where I always spend way more time that I ever intended) to pin to my Fourth of July pin board. My toddler is starting to take an interest in creating things, and I thought it’d be perfect to find a few of my favorite patriotic snacks for kids that encourage them to have a creative eye and create something that’s not only super yummy, but also really cute!

Simple Blackberry Bread Recipe

May 11, 2018 by Laura Tucker Leave a Comment

Mother’s Day is coming up this weekend, and to celebrate my family is taking a little day trip down to the gulf to have a little fun in the sun! Now that I’m in my 3rd trimester, it’s not quite as easy to get out and do things like it was just a few months ago. Since I’m in the home stretch of this pregnancy, I knew it was important for my family to get out and have fun together as much as possible before we grow from a family of 3 to a family of 4! Needless to say, I’ve been up on my feet these last few days making a list (and checking it twice) to make sure we don’t forget anything while packing – because a trip to Walmart during a vacation sounds absolutely dreadful to me!
