With the holidays quickly approaching, I’ve been getting more and more anxious to get into our brand new house. Construction is so close to being completed, and we’re expected to be able to move in before Thanksgiving (which is perfect, because my whole family will be coming over for Thanksgiving dinner!)

So in addition to thinking about what our menu will look like, I’ve also been planning out the decor of my home. Y’all know my love of throw pillows, so I just had to do a little searching for some super cute Thanksgiving pillow covers to have on display around the house when my family comes in!

Cheesy Chicken & Spinach Alfredo Baked Potatoes

October 5, 2017 by Laura Tucker Leave a Comment

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of RAGÚ® Pasta Sauce. All opinions are entirely my own.

Things in our household have been a bit more stressful than usual this past month. We’re in the final stages of our home building process that we started back in December, so a lot of my attention has been focused on making decisions on things like counter tops, switch plates, paint colors and light fixtures. All of that sounds like it might be fun, but it’s been nothing short of nerve-wracking and a little bit intimidating. I’ve been feeling the pressure to pick out things that I not only like right now, but also feel like I’ll like years down the road, too.
There's nothing better than a baked potato loaded with delicious cheesy goodness, and these Cheesy Chicken & Spinach Alfredo Baked Potatoes are overflowing with the the creamiest alfredo sauce made by Ragu that will make you go back for seconds!…

The Aches and Pains of Home Building + Our 15 Minute Solution to Pain Management

For years my husband and I dreamed of one day building our very own home. We thoroughly researched all of the costs involved in the process, and we spent a good amount of time perfecting the plans and figuring out what elements we’d be able to do on our own and what we would have to contract out. My husband has been a total rock star throughout this whole entire process, and has taken the lead in nearly all aspects to make sure everything is done properly.

It’s no secret that the best activities of the year happen during the beautiful fall season. The leaves begin to change colors, the temperatures outside are crisp and cool, and families begin making plans for celebrating together during the holidays. This fall in particular is going to be the biggest and best one yet for my family, because we’ll be putting the finishing touches on our brand new home we’ve been building and will be moving in before Thanksgiving!

My entire family will be coming over to our new home for Thanksgiving day, so I’ve already made a jump-start at making menu preparations for the big day. Because there will be roughly 11 or 12 people in my house at one time, I’ve really been trying to think not only about Thanksgiving dinner itself, but also the other daily meals surrounding it.

Forget what you know about turkey sandwiches. This Carved Turkey, Cheddar and Apple Butter Club Sandwich is stacked high with fresh apple slices, crispy bacon, thick carved turkey breast and the sweetest apple butter your mouth has ever tasted, and it's all nestled between three slices of Sara Lee Artesano Golden Wheat Bread! #ArtesanoGoldenWheat #Ad…

It’s no secret that football in the south is a pretty big deal. Everyone is always counting down the days until their favorite team kicks off the first game of the year, and couples are busy planning their wedding ceremonies around game times on Saturday afternoons. I personally know people who have named their children after famous football coaches, and every Friday night you can find these football fanatics filling the bleachers at their local high school football stadium to cheer on their hometown teams.

Gearing up for the big game? Grab a Tony's Pizza and pair it with these easy and delicious Pizza Kabobs and you've got a winning feast! #WinWithTonysPizza #Ad…

What’s In My Closet: Sustainable Pieces by prAna

I received compensation for this post in the form of product. All opinions expressed within are 100% my own.

As a work-at-home mom who chases (or is chased by) a tiny toddler all day long, my wardrobe has changed quite a bit since I left my full time office job in 2015. All of my dress pants and blouses got pushed to the back of my closet, and now they only come out on special occasions. Instead, I now tend to favor athleisure wear pieces, and clothing that can move and breathe with me whether I’m rolling around on the floor or toting a tot around on my hip while out and about.

We’ve been enjoying some gloriously comfortable temperatures in my area this past week, and it’s been such a welcomed change from our otherwise uncomfortably humid and sultry temps we typically experience during this time of year. With the promise of fall swaying in the breeze, it’s no secret that my mind has been operating on all-things-autumn since the moment the daily high dropped down into the 80’s. It doesn’t take much for me to get excited, y’all. Break out the boots and sweaters, because I’m ready to fall in love with fall all over again!
