The Perfect Summer Side Dish: Broccoli & Cheddar Stuffed Tomatoes + GIVEAWAY!

August 7, 2018 by Laura Tucker 13 Comments

This post was sponsored by Green Giant as part of an Influencer Activation for Influence Central and all opinions expressed in my post are my own.

Throughout the entire second and third trimester of my pregnancy, my body constantly craved the juicy goodness of fresh, homegrown tomatoes. Unfortunately, my husband and I were not able to plant a garden like we normally do each year so we could grow our own tomatoes, but we were very fortunate that my mother and several other friends in our community had bountiful crops of tomatoes and other fresh produce that they were more than willing to share with us!Broccoli & Cheddar Stuffed Tomatoes #VeggieSwapIns #IC #ad…

We’re all cheers over here this morning, because we’re just 40 days away getting to watch the Alabama Crimson Tide kick off the 2018 football season (and also 3 days away from our second child being born…but who’s counting?) 😉

And with the rolling of the Tide comes a rolling in my tummy for some of the greatest game day grub I can think of – and this year we’re going to be switching things up just a little bit!

Enjoying Ice Cold Watermelon on the go with Coconut Watermelon Ice Pops

July 18, 2018 by Laura Tucker Leave a Comment

Thank you National Watermelon Promotion Board for sponsoring this post. Watermelon is the perfect portable food for enjoying wherever life takes you!

This summer has certainly been one for the books for my family. It’s really been one giant countdown to the arrival of our second little girl, who will be making her debut in just EIGHT days! To make sure that I don’t focus all of my energy on preparing for the baby, I’ve been packing in lots of fun activities for my 3 year old daughter and I to enjoy together while it’s just the two of us at home during the day – but I’ve been super mindful about listening to what my body needs during this final HOT month to help me stay nourished and hydrated.

Mason Jar Blackberry Cobbler

With just 4 weeks left until baby arrives, I’m trying my hardest to find pockets in my day where I can kick my (semi-swollen) feet up and just have a few minutes of time to myself. It’s pretty hard to have that time with a 3 year old running around the house, but thankfully my grandparents came to the rescue yesterday afternoon and took my tot to their house for a few hours while I rested. It was glorious!

The Final Countdown to Baby #2 + Pineapple Mango Smoothie Recipe!

Three cheers for being in the home stretch of my second pregnancy! We can officially say that baby #2 will be here in less than a month, and I have been counting down the days to when I can finally hold this little wiggle worm in my arms. This pregnancy has been a bit tougher than my first pregnancy, so in addition to counting down the days to when I can see her sweet face, I’m also counting down quite a few other things that have been off limits or restricted for me throughout the course of this pregnancy.

Jaw-fully Sweet Treats to Bite Into during Shark Week!

After my husband and I get our little one nestled in bed each night, we usually have a time frame of about an hour to get to watch something on TV other than Paw Patrol or some other animated kids show. During those golden moments before our eyes close with the exhaustion of parenthood, we typically tune into one of our favorite shows that airs on the Discovery Channel.

My Biggest Pregnancy Craving & How I’m Enjoying it Guilt Free!

May 18, 2018 by Laura Tucker Leave a Comment

This post was sponsored by Hood as part of an Influencer Activation for Influence Central and all opinions expressed in my post are my own.

Now that I’ve entered my 3rd trimester of pregnancy, things are starting to get a little more hectic around our household. My toddler has done her very best over the past several months to sort-of ignore the fact that a new little girl will be stripping her of her “only child” title, and she can totally sense something is going on as I begin to nest and make preparations for her baby sister. She has been actively demanding ALL of my attention, and certainly not cutting me any slack when it comes to me lacking energy and not being able to get down on the floor and play with her. She’s definitely been keeping me on my toes, and as a result I’ve been slacking a good bit on taking care of my own personal needs. My Biggest Pregnancy Craving - & How I'm Enjoying it Guilt Free! #CalorieCountdown #IC #ad …

Healthy Patriotic Snacks for Kids

May 16, 2018 by Laura Tucker 2 Comments

Affiliate links may be included throughout this post at absolutely no cost to you. Healthy Patriotic Snacks for Kids are a fun and delicious way to celebrate our great country, and I love sharing my favorite finds with you!

With Memorial Day right around the corner and Independence Day quickly approaching, I’ve started my annual hunt for the cutest seasonal snacks and crafts on Pinterest  (where I always spend way more time that I ever intended) to pin to my Fourth of July pin board. My toddler is starting to take an interest in creating things, and I thought it’d be perfect to find a few of my favorite patriotic snacks for kids that encourage them to have a creative eye and create something that’s not only super yummy, but also really cute!

Simple Blackberry Bread Recipe

May 11, 2018 by Laura Tucker Leave a Comment

Mother’s Day is coming up this weekend, and to celebrate my family is taking a little day trip down to the gulf to have a little fun in the sun! Now that I’m in my 3rd trimester, it’s not quite as easy to get out and do things like it was just a few months ago. Since I’m in the home stretch of this pregnancy, I knew it was important for my family to get out and have fun together as much as possible before we grow from a family of 3 to a family of 4! Needless to say, I’ve been up on my feet these last few days making a list (and checking it twice) to make sure we don’t forget anything while packing – because a trip to Walmart during a vacation sounds absolutely dreadful to me!
