The youngest Tucker tot is just 2 weeks away from turning the big ONE, and it’s been such a joy to look back over the last 12 months and see how much she has truly grown. She’s a busy little bee scooting all over the house, and she adores watching her big sister run and play. She wants to do anything and everything her sister does, and she’s wasted no time in declaring that she’s ready to do all of the things her big sissy is doing!
Laken cut teeth much sooner than her big sister did. Her sister had 2 teeth on her first birthday, but Laken already has 7 teeth and counting! Once those baby teeth began to make their debut, we realized that we needed to begin making her oral care a priority. After doing a little research on oral care products for babies her age, it was no surprise to us that MAM leads the pack in award-winning and medically sound baby care and oral products. My oldest was fiercely devoted to her MAM products, and Laken has definitely followed suit!
MAM recently launched their new MAM oral care range (as seen in the video clip above.) Their line includes five new products: MAM Oral Care rabbit, MAM Massaging Brush, MAM Training Brush, MAM Baby’s Brush and MAM Learn to Brush Set. We started out with the MAM Baby’s Brush 2 pack (available at Target and Amazon,) and it’s the perfect size and shape for her to grasp as she learns to brush and massage her gums. We typically have her brush her teeth at the same time as her big sister, and she loves to imitate the motions that her sister does.
The MAM Baby’s Brush features Brushy the Bear, who also happens to appear as a character in tooth brushing stories that are available on MAM’S free tooth brushing app, “MAM Brushy Time!”
In addition to the new oral care range, Laken has also grown quite attached to the Trainer Baby Bottle & Cup. She’s noticed that her sister does not use a baby bottle, and instead uses a big girl cup, so Laken has started showing signs of wanting to move away from the bottle and drink from cups that look like her sister’s. This cup has been a wonderful transition cup, as the nipple is still soft like a baby bottle, but shaped like a spout from a sippy cup. The handles are also great for learning how to hold the cup properly, and I love that it’s spill proof!
But perhaps the biggest love connection my baby has with MAM products is the MAM Night pacifier, which she always has during her nap time and at bed time. This comes as no surprise to me, as both her sister AND her mother were MAM loyalists growing up! (You can read more about that here…plus catch some pictures of me sporting my MAM pacifiers from the early 90’s!)
We love the MAM Night pacifier because it has a symmetrical nipple that’s ideal for baby’s jaw development, and the curved shield on the outside allows it to sit comfortably on her face. Plus, these pacifiers glow in the dark, making them easy for her to find on her own in the middle of the night!
MAM has been a part of our lives for almost 30 years, and I love seeing this innovative brand still making rock star products that my children love to use. Their oral care range has been perfect for us in this stage of Laken’s development, and their sippy cups and pacifiers will always be a family favorite!
If you’re on the hunt for a great line of oral care products for your baby, or if you’re looking to transition from bottles to sippy cups, I highly recommend giving MAM products a try!
