How I Simplified My Life (And Saved My Sanity) With The Click of a Button!

When my little one made her debut into our life almost 2 years ago, she unknowingly (and in the sweetest of ways) turned our world completely upside down. Things got really real when my husband and I jumped into the wild ride of parenthood. All of your parents out there know exactly what I mean when I say having a baby makes things….different. It’s not just a few things in my life that changed. No, pretty much everything changed.

For example: When was the last time I went to the bathroom by myself? I literally have no recollection of that ever happening at all within the last month. When was the last time we got to watch a TV show or movie at home together uninterrupted? Probably when I was still pregnant. When was the last time I went to the grocery store without trying to tame a temper-tantrum on aisle 9? Couldn’t tell you. For real.

And even though I firmly believe that becoming a mother has brought out the best in me, it also has some webs that I get tangled up in from time to time – forgetfulness being the primary booger that I’m trying to deal with.
