With all of this warm weather we’ve been having, I’m definitely ready for Spring to make it’s grand debut! Right now, everything outside is coated in that miserable yellow pollen, but I know that soon the bees will start buzzing and flowers will finally bloom! While Spring isn’t exactly my favorite season (tornado season kind of ruins it for me,) I absolutely LOVE all things Easter – especially out annual egg hunt every year!
My family has always taken egg hunts pretty seriously. There’s some pretty legit prizes to be won for finding special eggs, and I can vividly remember running down the stairs on Easter morning to find a basket with my name on it overflowing with goodies! I always wanted to make it a point to go all out with the Easter Egg hunts and baskets with my little one, so I’ve been brainstorming about a few fun things that will be making an appearance in my little girl’s basket. Here are a few of my favorite finds:
Real Shades Sunglasses – Our latest obsession is these absolutely adorable Switch Sunglasses for toddlers made by Real Shades. They have shatterproof lenses and offer 100% UV protection for babies, toddlers, youth and adults! The Switch Sunglasses are particularly fun for toddlers because they change colors when you go out into the sun! They come in multiple colors and are amazingly priced at just $14.95! We’ll be hitting the beach for a mini vacation soon, and these shades are definitely tagging along! They’re the perfect addition to an Easter basket…and they’re also the perfect Easter Egg hunt accessory!
My almost 3 year old requests to wear her Real Shades multiple times a day, and the sass-o-meter definitely cranks up a notch when she wears them! 😉
Easter Themed Coloring Book – Coloring books are a great item to put into an Easter basket. Any ol’ coloring book will do, but I’m particularly fond of this Peter Rabbit coloring book. Peter Rabbit is a timeless character and the pages in this coloring book really reflect that. They’re easy enough for toddlers to color, but they’re beautiful and full of charm!
Bunny Rabbit Umbrella –Â Â We all know that April showers bring May flowers, so why not make sure your rainy season accessories are as cute as a button?! I’m all heart-eyes over this cute little bunny umbrella!
Bunny Rain Boots – And speaking of April showers, make sure your little girl is fully (and stylishly) equipped to jump in those rain puddles (because you now she wants to!) These little bunny rain boots come in numerous sizes!
Floral Easter Bunny Headband – When gathering up fillers for their basket, don’t forget the bunny ears! I don’t know a single little girl that wouldn’t rock a pair of bunny ears during the Easter season! I particularly love these floral bunny ears that I found on Amazon. They definitely add a touch of pizzazz, don’t you think?
Glitter Bunny Hair Clip – And what toddler girl doesn’t have a thing for pink sparkles? I love this sweet little bunny hair clip, and it would certainly tuck nicely into an Easter basket of any size! You could even hide it in a plastic egg as a special surprise!
Color & Cuddle Washable Bunny –Â Â This year, why not skip the traditional bunny or chick plush and surprise them with this super cool (and totally washable) bunny plush that you can color and design on?! I know my little girl will have a fit over this special bunny, and it allows her to let her creativity truly shine!
Egg Shaped Sidewalk Chalk – My little girl definitely has a deep love for sidewalk chalk. We play outside every chance we get, and one of the first things she asks to do it to make shapes and colors out in the driveway for Daddy to see when he gets home! I think these little egg-shaped chalks are perfect for a toddlers grasp, and they aren’t as easy to break as a piece of stick chalk!
Easter Stickers –  My little one is crazy about stickers! She loves to wear them on her shirt and stick them inside her coloring books. I love these sheets of Easter themed stickers! They’d tuck perfectly inside an Easter basket!
Pinkalicious Eggstraordinary Easter Book – Anyone else has a little girl who is head over heels for Pinkalicious? I spotted this super cute little Easter themed Pinkalicious book on Amazon at a steal of a price! Whatever character your little one is into, check out Amazon to see if there is an Easter or spring themed book in their collection! Books are always a great gift idea!
The Berenstain Bears and the Easter Story – My toddler hasn’t gotten into the Berenstain Bears yet, but they were definitely a childhood favorite of mine that I am hoping to introduce my daughter to very soon! I love that this particular book shares the true Easter story about Jesus’ death and resurrection (and bonus points because it has stickers!) Win/win!
Easter Egg Shaped Play Doh – If your toddler is old enough to play with playdoh, these egg-shaped dough containers would be fun to add in to an Easter basket! ?
Melissa and Doug Spring Bubble Wand Set – My little girl is absolutely crazy about bubbles right now. Since the weather has warmed up a good bit, we spend a lot of time together out on the front porch blowing and chasing bubbles. This cute little set will tuck nicely into an Easter basket, and you can always find extra bubble refills for super cheap at your local dollar store!
Bunny Hooded Towel Wrap – If your little bunny finds themselves hopping through the rain puddles this spring, make sure their bath time is extra fun with this cute bunny towel wrap! Those cute little ears just kill me, and it comes in other colors, too!
Spring Themed Outfit –  While your little one is on the official Easter Egg hunt this year, why not make sure they’re wearing something totally adorable and bunny-themed?! I’m really crazy about this sweet little outfit, plus all of the other cute spring outfits listed by the same seller. Other ideas for including clothing in your Easter basket are to pick out something dressy to wear to church or something fun and whimsical to wear to have your picture made with the Easter bunny in! While you’re shopping and looking around, you might want to browse my favorite online consignment store, ThredUp for some really cute Spring-y finds. In fact, here’s $10 for you to pick out something with. Completely FREE! Happy Easter! ?
Bunny Shaped Snacks – What toddler doesn’t love snack crackers? My daughter is crazy about graham crackers and cheese crackers, so these little organic bunny shaped snack packages are absolutely perfect to go into her Easter basket this year!
Bunny Insulated Lunch Tote – If your little one attends a care program during the day, or if you like to go on occasional picnic dates, this cute little bunny tote is the perfect thing to pack their snacks in! And at just under $6, who could beat it?!
Bunny Educational Felt Board – Toddlers of all ages can benefit from this cute little felt board where you can match capital letters with their lowercase letters, or you can even spell out words completely on your own! It’s perfect for little hands to work with and for parents to help with, too!
