Three cheers for the holiday season! Now that November is officially here, my mind has completely switched gears into focusing on all of the fun holiday festivities coming up. We’re just a few weeks away from moving into our brand new home, and I’m already making big plans for my family to gather together in our home to celebrate the season!
The temperatures here in the deep south are finally starting to cool down, and as I’m curled up in my favorite blanket sipping on my coffee this morning, I’m sorting through all of the visions dancing around in my head of yummy sweets and treats that I can’t wait to make to ring in the season right!
Once the weather turns cold and I get that first taste of holiday cheer, I always stock up on my favorite coffee creamers to make the merriment last! Stirring in a little liquid holiday cheer into my morning cup of coffee is the best way to make the season merry and bright, and my favorite seasonal creamers from International Delight® are usually the starting point for all of my dessert ideas during the holidays, too!
My current obsessions are International Delight® Peppermint Mocha Coffee Creamer and International Delight® Chocolate Hazelnut, which can easily be found in the refrigerated section at your local Walmart store! I normally buy a couple bottles at a time – a bottle for my coffee and another bottle for holiday baking!
I’ve designated a special place in my (almost completed) kitchen to serve as a coffee bar/serving area, and I’m counting down the days until we’re officially in the house so I can flaunt my inner barista and serve my family and friends some seriously delicious coffee pairings using International Delight® Peppermint Mocha and Chocolate Hazelnut creamers, plus a tasty treat to put a little jingle in their step!
Peppermint is my jam during this time of year, so much of my holiday baking is centered around peppermint flavored goodies. My latest crave-worthy confections are these simple Peppermint Brownie Cheesecake Trifles that are filled with layers of peppermint-infused chocolate brownie chunks, followed by layers of sugary sweet cream cheese filling made with International Delight® Peppermint Mocha Creamer!
This dessert can be made in a large trifle bowl, but I really love to serve it in these small jelly-sized jars during holiday parties or when I have friends and family over. They’re easy for people to pick up and walk around with, and they’re absolutely adorable sitting on display on a dessert table!
These Peppermint Brownie Cheesecake Trifles are easy peasy to make, and require just a few ingredients! During my recent grocery shopping trip at Walmart, I made sure to stock up on everything I’d need to put this dish together. Here’s what you’ll need to get started:
International Delight Peppermint Mocha Creamer, 2 packages of cream cheese, powdered sugar, peppermint extract, your favorite boxed brownie mix, + whatever additional ingredients you’ll need to make the brownies (usually eggs and oil.)
This peppermint cream cheese batter is everything, y’all. I could eat this stuff by the spoonful all by itself! This cream cheese mixture is 100% safe to eat without baking because there are no eggs inside, so you can lick the beaters all you want! Hooray!
Here’s a free printable copy of the recipe if you’d like to save it and give it a try during your next holiday shindig!

What size package of cream cheese, 3oz. or 8 oz.?
Laura Tucker says
Hi Janet,
My apologies for not including this in the recipe. You’ll use a standard brick of cream cheese in an 8 oz package. Hope that helps!
Wanda Burton says
Hi Laura, Could you tell me how many servings this makes. I need enough for 14 people and I want to make sure I have enough ingredients. Thank you and God Bless

Hi Wanda,
I would go ahead and double the recipe. Hope that helps!
