Lulu and Mila review
If you know me at all, you know this one thing: I like BIG bows (and I cannot lie). My daughter had her first hair bow on her head within the first hour after being born. It wasn’t a rinky-dinky little hair bow either, y’all. It was large and in charge, no doubt about it.
I see hair bows as crowns for little princesses. The bigger the better! And if it fits..why not wear it? I’ve seen this image floating around Facebook for a while now, and every time I see it I crack up. #truth
All hair bows are not created equally. We all know that they come in all sorts of sizes and colors, and with different styles of clips, embellishments, etc. Within the past year or so, I noticed a new trend in hair bows for little girls. Instead of having a traditional bow made from ribbon with a clip, more and more little girls are sporting these fabulous fabric head wraps and top knots that are so stinkin’ cute it hurts.
I quickly turned to Etsy to see what all the to-do was with these head wraps. My heart was flooded with adorable babies and toddlers rocking these wraps, and I knew this was something I wanted to see more of. One store in particular (Lulu and Mila – formally Lil Tot Shop) caught my eye with their styles and designs, and let me tell you, they are definitely on top of their hair bow game!
I am SO in love with these wraps, y’all! Just when I didn’t think my love for bows could be any stronger, I saw my daughter wearing this beautiful, feminine rose print head wrap from Lulu and Mila. My heart felt like it nearly exploded from all of the cuteness!
Then she really started showing out when I put this funky and fun little flamingo head wrap on her. It has us just begging for Summer to get here! All the wraps are priced perfectly at just $9.00. In addition to to the adorable prints, I think it’d be great to stock up on some neutral solid colors that can be worn with almost anything! Lulu and Mila can definitely hook you up with some big bow sweetness in numerous colors and prints.
One other thing that I am really loving about the head wraps at Lulu and Mila is that not only can they be worn by little ones, but the can also be worn by adults! Because you have to tie them yourself, they can be worn in numerous different ways…meaning you can get several different looks from just one wrap! When my wraps first arrived, I was a little lost on how to tie them. I quickly jumped on Lulu and Mila’s Facebook page and found a fabulous tutorial linked below:
