Have you ever had one of those moments where you just wanted to throw your hands up in the air and do a happy dance because you were so excited to experience a little change from the mundane in your life? Earlier this week I had one of those glorious moments, and it felt (and tasted) so good to gain this coveted bliss in my own home in just a few minutes flat!
As a work at home mom, the things I accomplish throughout the day are solely at the mercy of my vivacious (and very opinionated) little two year old. It’s not at all uncommon for her to throw a temper tantrum at the drop of a hat, and because I’m at her beck and call 24/7, the things on my to-do list frequently get pushed to the side or are done in a very haphazard manner.
Unfortunately, this also includes planning what I’ll be eating for lunch during the day, and all too often I end up with the rejected PB&J or half-eaten chicken nuggets sitting on her plate to prevent them from going to total waste.
But during my most recent shopping trip at my local Walmart, I couldn’t help but notice the bright and colorful packaging of the new Tai Pei® single serve line of Asian inspired frozen entrees, and I gravitated toward them like a moth to a flame feeling certain that this would be the golden moment that my lunch-time conundrum would finally be solved!
I definitely had a moment standing there with my shopping cart where I was left in a trance admiring all of the varieties of Tai Pei® single serve options I could choose from:
Beef & Broccoli, Shrimp Fried Rice, Sweet & Sour Chicken, Chicken Fried Rice, Chicken Chow Mein, and General Tso’s Chicken
Having all of these delicious flavor options to choose from made it really easy to make a selection – I grabbed one of each! I spent the rest of my shopping trip rejoicing over the fact that I finally found a scrumptious and super-simple solution to bring a little flavor back into my lunch time, and it can come together in just a few minutes (in about the same amount of time it takes for me to lovingly make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, cut all of the crust off, and have my toddler pitch a fit because I didn’t cut it into tiny trapezoid shapes.) Score!
I’m really digging the fact that these Tai Pei® entrees are made with real, quality ingredients. You won’t find any preservatives or artificial ingredients – just pure and delicious goodness in every bite!
It’s been an awesome feeling knowing I have something quick and delicious to look forward to at lunch time these days, and I’m able to ditch the boring leftover and half-eaten rejects from my toddler and dig into something savory that I don’t have to share with anyone. Talk about a total #momwin!
Have you tried any the new Tai Pei® single serve varieties available at Walmart yet? Which one is your favorite, or which one do you want to try first? I’ll give you a hint: They’re all delicious! 😉
