Two weeks ago I shared a super simple idea for turning prepackaged doughnut holes into fun little acorn shaped bites to celebrate the (soon-to-be) arrival of fall! It got a ton of love from you guys on Instagram, so I thought I’d continue to dance with the idea of making fun little acorn treats to spread a little more fall cheer! Ladies and gents, say hello to these scrumptious little easy fall acorn cookies!
These cookies came together in mere minutes. All you need is a package of chocolate almond bard, chocolate sprinkles, pretzel sticks and nutter butter cookies!
Simply cut each cookie in half and melt the almond bark in a microwave safe bowl. Dip the cut end of each cookie into the melted chocolate and place on a sheet of wax paper to dry. Before the chocolate dries, toss a few sprinkles onto the chocolate and insert half of a pretzel stick into the top of the cookie. Voila!
