These Coca Cola Peach Pepper Jelly Meatballs are the perfect appetizer to kick your game day off on a winning point!
Football season will soon be here, and my whole household has been jumping up and down with excitement anticipating the Saturdays that we get to watch the Alabama Crimson Tide take the field. It’s no secret that football is huge here in the south, and no matter if you’re watching the game from stadium seats or from your couch at home, no game day experience is complete without those fan favorite game day appetizers!
As much as I love to host football parties at home, I believe it’s so important to be present with the guests more than you spend time making preparations in the kitchen. (Plus, I’m not a fan of missing any of the game myself!) When game days roll around, I love to reach for my slow cooker and let it do all the cooking so that I can spend more time with my family rooting for our team. I love to keep my game time recipes super simple, and my recipe for Coca-Cola Peach Pepper Jelly Meatballs is always a favorite around here!
Not only does an ice cold Coke belong in my hand on game days, but it also belongs in my family’s favorite meatball recipe! I grabbed a bag of frozen meatballs, a bottle of barbecue sauce, a jar of my homemade peach pepper jelly (though store bought is totally fine) and a can of Coca-Cola and stirred it all together in my slow cooker. I set it on low for 3-4 hours and it was ready to devour just in time for kickoff!

We absolutely love the sweetness of the peach pepper jelly paired with the savory flavors of the BBQ sauce and the tangy fizz of a classic Coca-Cola in these meatballs. Not only do they make a perfect game day recipe, but they’re great for potlucks, too! Whenever we have a function to attend where food is requested, I just pull out these ingredients, grab my slow cooker and let it do all the work!
