Making a Splash on International Learn to Swim Day!

May 17, 2019 by Laura Tucker Leave a Comment

This post was sponsored by SwimWays as part of an Ambassador Program for Influence Central and all opinions expressed in my post are my own.

I’ll never forget the moment I watched my little girl fall head over heels in love with the water. On one of our annual family beach trips years ago, I carried my toddler out from under our umbrella and up to the shore to let her feel the waves rush across her feet. Fearing she’d be intimidated by the water, I held her back quite a bit. Little did I know, that was the very beginning of a deep love connection that I couldn’t restrain! She giggled, squealed with joy, clapped her hands and could not contain her excitement any longer. She hopped out of my arms and into the water without a fear in the world. It was quite a sight to see!Making a Splash on International Learn to Swim Day!…

Motherhood is the most beautiful and rewarding experience I’ve ever been a part of. To say it’s all rainbows and sunshine, though, would certainly be a dose of fiction that I don’t ever want to serve to my readers. Of course there is an ample amount of those glorious sunshine moments, but so often I find myself in the trenches of motherhood doing all of the really hard things that are never really acknowledged or shown on social media.

Before I decided to stay at home when my first child was born 3 years ago, I couldn’t yet see the emotional effect becoming a stay-at-home parent would have on me. Sure, I am absolutely thrilled to be able to experience every milestone with my girls, and I wouldn’t change my decision to be right here with them at all, but when each day comes to a close and I realize that I’ve been wearing spit-up covered pants and that my hair can’t possibly hold one more ounce of dry shampoo because I had no time for myself to take a proper shower, I start to feel a little heavy-laden.

How We’re Building a Smart House for the Holidays

November 25, 2018 by Laura Tucker Leave a Comment

This post was sponsored by Amazon as part of an Influencer Activation for Influence Central and all opinions expressed in my post are my own.

Two years ago to this very day, our family broke ground to build our home on a plot of land nestled between a field of planted pines, and over the next year we watched the house that we spent countless hours designing and planning being built from the ground up. Fast forward to this moment in time, and I stand amazed at the home we’ve created. It’s inside walls are adorned with photos of our beautiful children, the rooms are filled with love and laughter, and there’s a voice ringing throughout the air that helps keep us all laughing, entertained and running efficiently with a simple, single command.

The Simple Choice I Made For My Baby That Brought Me Peace of Mind

November 8, 2018 by Laura Tucker Leave a Comment

This post is sponsored by Beech-Nut®, and I have received compensation in exchange for my honest review. All opinions expressed here are completely my own.

Before becoming a mother a little over 3 years ago, I thought I had this whole parenting thing down-pat. I read all the books, watched all the how-to’s and could spat off ALL of the things I was going to do to make sure my baby was getting only the best in every area across the board. They say the ones who always know the most about kids are the ones that don’t have them. I always crack up at that, because I was in that boat for sure! I thought I knew it all, but then our little bundle of joy entered the world, and the whole game changed.

Meet Tuckerville’s Tiniest Conductor at the Thomas & Friends Super Station

September 29, 2018 by Laura Tucker Leave a Comment

I have been compensated for this post in exchange for my honest review. However, all opinions expressed here are 100% my own. I only promote what I truly love!

It was bright and early on a Saturday morning, and the fog was just beginning to lift as the sun started to peak over the horizon. Tuckerville’s tiniest train conductor was just beginning to emerge from her sleep to get ready for a long day of endless playtime – a job that is well suited for a child with a beautifully wild imagination just like hers.

She lets out a yawn, wipes the sleepy out of her eyes and runs down the hallway to my bedroom to claim her spot between her daddy and I. She nestles into the covers and wiggles her little toes against ours as she gently reminds us that the sun is awake, and therefore everyone in the house should be awake, too.

Life Hack: How I Organize My Kids Clothes (Without Losing My Sanity!)

August 10, 2018 by Laura Tucker 3 Comments

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of The Duck Brand for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

It’s been 2 weeks since we welcomed the newest little Tucker tot into the world, and finally being able to bring her home into her new nursery brought us so much joy on so many levels! While her first encounter with her room was seeing a perfectly polished nursery with everything in it’s place, it was definitely a different story just a few weeks prior when I was bringing all of big sister’s newborn and baby clothes down from the attic!Duck Pack & Track…

June 6, 2018 by Laura Tucker Leave a Comment

I received product as compensation in exchange for my honest review. All opinions expressed are 100% my own. I only promote what I truly love!

Yesterday afternoon my office space was taken over by the sound of the sweetest laughter and giggles coming from these two peas in a pod. I stuck my head in to see what was going on, and found this beautiful sight right before my eyes. My husband and little girl were entranced by the brand new book we recently received in the mail, and upon further inspection I saw right away why their smiles were as big as they were!

DIY Outdoor Water Activity Play Table

April 5, 2018 by Laura Tucker Leave a Comment

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Banana Boat®. The opinions and text are all mine.

Just a few weeks ago, my family took a much needed two-day getaway vacation to a large city just a few hours across the state from us. My husband and I were in desperate need of a little quality time together, but we also wanted to make sure the trip was full of fun activities for our little girl to enjoy. We heard about this amazing children’s science discovery museum that was in the heart of downtown, so we packed up and headed over to see what it was all about!

As the days start getting warmer, we're starting to get outside and enjoy the sunshine! This DIY Water Activity Table is a great way to keep little ones entertained, and it costs less than $30! Don't forget the• Banana Boat® Kids Sport Sunscreen Lotion Spray with PowerStay™ Technology so you can play outdoors even longer! #ad #BBRealFun…

The Perfect Personalized Easter Basket Filler – I See Me Books GIVEAWAY!

March 13, 2018 by Laura Tucker 16 Comments

Compensation was provided by I See Me in the form of product. All opinions expressed are 100% my own.

Growing up, Easter was always such an incredibly fun time in our household. We’ve always celebrated the death and resurrection of Christ Jesus (the most important time of the year in our opinion,) and my mother would often spare no expense in making sure that all of her children had an Easter Basket that was overflowing with sweet treats, money eggs and the cutest little seasonal gifts to fit our personalities. Running downstairs and finding our baskets before church service was always such a treat, and the annual Easter egg hunt that soon followed was always a memorable experience! I always knew I wanted to keep these fun traditions alive when I had children of my own, and for my little one’s 3rd Easter celebration, we’re going big!The Perfect Personalized Easter Basket Filler - I See Me Books Review…

Non-Candy Easter Basket Filler Ideas for Toddler Girls

February 28, 2018 by Laura Tucker Leave a Comment

Affiliate links may be included throughout this post at absolutely no post to you. Complimentary product was provided by Real Shades. All opinions expressed are 100% my own.

With all of this warm weather we’ve been having, I’m definitely ready for Spring to make it’s grand debut! Right now, everything outside is coated in that miserable yellow pollen, but I know that soon the bees will start buzzing and flowers will finally bloom! While Spring isn’t exactly my favorite season (tornado season kind of ruins it for me,) I absolutely LOVE all things Easter – especially out annual egg hunt every year!
