This time last year, we were cooped up in our house and staying out of the heat and the sun. I was joyfully recovering from a caesarean section and Miss T was no bigger than a minute – far too little to be introduced to the Alabama weather.
While we were enjoying the cool air conditioner inside, deep down I was craving to be in the water. I had just spent the last 9 months being pregnant, so the thought of feeling weightless in the water was sounding AWESOME! I also caught myself daydreaming about my little girl toddling around the water and catching her facial expression when she took her first dip in the big pool at her cousin’s house.
Flash forward a year later, and my little mermaid is ready to splash!

Miss T is modeling the 12-18 month size swimsuit. She is 13 months old and is on the small side for her age (10th percentile in height and weight.) The swimsuit runs pretty small in my opinion, so if your child is on the bigger side or is closer to the 18 month mark, I would size up!

She LOVED her first big pool experience. We picked out a baby float from Amazon that was perfect for the occasion (and only 9 bucks!) Now instead of spending out summer inside this year, we plan on chillin’ out maxin’ relaxin’ all cool….by the pool!
