There are just 4 weeks left of summer before all of the kids that live in my area start shopping for school supplies and zipping up their brand new backpacks to head off to their first day of school. Can you believe that?! I mean, didn’t summer just start? It truly feels like school begins earlier and earlier every year!
When I was still in school, I would count down the days to when school started back. I absolutely adored school. For me, summer was fun for about 2 weeks, and then I longed to be close to all of my friends again and in an organized setting with a structured routine. I’d nearly squeal with joy when the school board released the shopping lists for my school. I’d very meticulously pick out the perfect (and cutest) school supplies and rearrange the contents of my backpack multiple times in preparation for the 1st day back. I would see to it that all of my items had my name written on them, and then I’d do the same thing for all of my little brother’s school supplies, too!

One thing I quickly noticed after having my daughter is how easy it is to misplace items or to have them get switched up with other children’s belongings – especially if my child is in another person’s care for any period of time. Having these labels in place on her belongings helps keep others aware of what belongs to my child and what doesn’t.
I was blown away by how easy the Stuck On You website is to use, and I totally appreciate being able to pick out a fun design for my labels and actually seeing what the labels will look like with my child’s name on them before I order them. There were so many cute designs to choose from, and you even get to pick out a fun font for the name, too!
The fact that these labels are scratch-resistant, dishwasher and microwave safe is jut the icing on the cake for me. As a parent of a toddler, my dishwasher is always packed to the rim with sippy cups and other things that belong to her. The labels have remained in place and show no signs of wear! I especially love the iron on clothing labels and that they’re able to withstand the washing machine and still remain in place. They’re such a cute way to make sure my daughter’s clothing stays with her without having to reach for the dreaded black marker to mark up her clothing!
