I’ve been to Disney World three times in my life. The first time I was a baby, the second time I was 5 years old, and the third time I was 11. Unfortunately, I only remember just a few bits and pieces of the trip I took when I was 11, and that was in 2000 or 2001!

I am dreaming of the day I get to take my little girl to Disney World for the first time. She’s only 8 months old right now, but in a few more years I think we’ll be ready for our first trip. I cannot wait to see the twinkle in her eye as she meets the Mickey Mouse for the first time like I did. I can envision the magic that fills her heart when she sees the Disney princesses dancing and singing in real life. Ahh, I get chills!

A huge goal of mine is to take all of my children to Disney a few times before they leave the nest. I want them to truly remember all of the fun and excitement that Disney has to offer. In order to do Disney World right and to make it as memorable as possible, I know I’ll need a game plan. One rather large reason why visiting Disney World remains a dream and not a reality for many families is because of the cost. Disney is very expensive! I know our first trip will require a good bit of saving…and really I should probably start saving right now!
