How I’ve Gained Peace of Mind During my Toddler’s Nap Time

I remember the first time I ever swaddled my baby girl. My husband and I had been practicing swaddling for weeks leading up to her birth on various stuffed animals around the house. I even bought a book on swaddling – just to make sure that we got the technique down-pat. Admittedly, my husband was a WAY better swaddler than I was. Our little baby Houdini always had a way of sneaking out an arm, but she truly loved the comfort and secure feeling that her swaddle brought her. She was swaddled until about 3 months old, and then we started transitioning her out of a full swaddle and into partial swaddles.
