Ingredients

  • 1 package 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup mayo
  • 1 packet dry ranch mix
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese divided
  • 1 package swiss cheese slices
  • 2 12.5 oz cans shredded chicken
  • 4-5 slices thick cut bacon cooked and chopped (prepackaged real bacon pieces also work great)
  • 1 small chopped green onion for topping - optional

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 F
  • In a large skillet, cook bacon according to package instructions, making sure the bacon is still slightly soft when finished and not too crisp
  • Transfer cooked bacon to a plate covered with a paper towel and let the grease drain off of each piece
  • In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, mayo, ranch mix and buffalo sauce and stir well
  • Add in 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese, shredded chicken and chopped bacon (leaving a few pieces to top the dip with)
  • Pour into a greased pie plate or casserole dish and cover with a layer of swiss cheese slices, followed by remaining shredded cheddar cheese
  • Bake for 25 minutes
  • Remove from oven and top with extra bacon pieces and chopped green onion if desired
  • Serve with crackers or toasted bread
