Summer Grilling: Fresh Veggie & Brat Kabobs

  • 1 medium pineapple cut into chunks
  • 1 red, orange, yellow and green bell pepper seeded and cut into wedges
  • 1 red onion cut into wedges
  • 1 package Greenfield Smoked Bratwurst Sausage
  • 1 package Arnold's Buns optional
  • 1/2 stick salted butter
  • 1/2 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder


  • Preheat grill to medium-high heat
  • Assemble kabobs by layering assorted veggies and brats onto skewers
  • Place kabobs onto grill and allow to cook on one side for about 5 minutes
  • Melt butter in a small bowl and stir in Italian seasoning and garlic powder
  • Using a basting brush, brush melted butter onto kabobs while on the grill
  • Turn kabobs and allow to cook on the other side for about 5 minutes, making sure to baste with butter sauce
  • Once veggies reach their desired consistency, serve immediately
  • You can eat the veggies right off the stick, or you can serve open face on an Arnold's bun for a little something different!
