Ingredients

  • 1 16 oz bag fresh whole green beans ends removed
  • 5-6 sliced thick cut uncooked bacon each cut into thirds
  • 1 stick salted butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • Cajun Seasoning a few dashes
  • Garlic powder a few dashes
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 F
  • Spray a casserole dish or pan with deep edges with nonstick cooking spray
  • After green beans have been thoroughly washed and the ends removed, bundle them into 4-5 pieces and wrap a piece of bacon around each bundle
  • Place each bundle in the dish with the wrapped side of the bacon face down to prevent it from unraveling
  • In a small pot, melt butter over low heat and add in brown sugar and stir until melted
  • Sprinkle salt, pepper, garlic powder and Cajun seasonings on top of each bundle
  • Pour the butter and brown sugar mixture over the bundles and bake in oven for 45 minutes, or until the bacon is crisp
  • Serve immediately & enjoy!
