Shrimp Po Boy Sliders

  • 1 package Kings Hawaiian Slider Buns
  • 1 package frozen breaded shrimp (popcorn works best) - cooked according to package instructions
  • 3-4 tomatoes, sliced (smaller varieties work best for sliders)
  • 1 package shredded iceberg lettuce
  • Mayonnaise
  • Creole Sauce (Ingredients listed below:)
  • 1 ¼ c mayonnaise
  • ¼ c creole mustard
  • 1 Tbsp paprika
  • 1 ½ tsp creole seasoning
  • 2 tsp Horseradish sauce (optional - but recommended!)
  • 1 tsp dill pickle juice
  • 1 tsp hot sauce
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  1. Prepare creole sauce ahead of time
  2. Combine all ingredients in creole sauce in a large bowl, cover and chill for 30+ minutes to allow the flavors to marry together
  3. Cook fried shrimp according to package instructions
  4. Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise onto both top and bottom portions of each slider bun
  5. Add a small handful of shrimp, followed by about a teaspoon worth of creole sauce
  6. Top with tomato and shredded lettuce
  7. Secure with toothpick and serve immediately
  8. Enjoy!
