Halloween Deep Dish Skillet Cookie

  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 stick salted butter, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 Tbs whole milk
  • 1½ tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups AP flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup peanut butter chocolate candies
  1. Preheat oven to 325 F
  2. Spay a 10 inch cast iron skillet with nonstick cooking spray
  3. Using a stand or hand mixer, beat sugars and butter together until creamy
  4. Add milk, egg and vanilla and continue beating until blended
  5. In a separate bowl, combine flour and baking soda
  6. Add flour mixture to butter mixture slowly, beating on low until well combined
  7. Add semisweet chocolate chips and ½ of the peanut butter chocolate candies until well incorporated
  8. Spoon batter into skillet as evenly as possible
  9. Scatter remaining peanut butter chocolate chips on top of batter
  10. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until golden brown and set
  11. Serve warm - enjoy!
