Summer Grilling: Fresh Veggie & Brat Kabobs

Serves: 8 skewers
  • 1 medium pineapple - cut into chunks
  • 1 red, orange, yellow and green bell pepper - seeded and cut into wedges
  • 1 red onion, cut into wedges
  • 1 package Greenfield Smoked Bratwurst Sausage
  • 1 package Arnold's Buns (optional)
  • ½ stick salted butter
  • ½ tsp Italian Seasoning
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat
  2. Assemble kabobs by layering assorted veggies and brats onto skewers
  3. Place kabobs onto grill and allow to cook on one side for about 5 minutes
  4. Melt butter in a small bowl and stir in Italian seasoning and garlic powder
  5. Using a basting brush, brush melted butter onto kabobs while on the grill
  6. Turn kabobs and allow to cook on the other side for about 5 minutes, making sure to baste with butter sauce
  7. Once veggies reach their desired consistency, serve immediately
  8. You can eat the veggies right off the stick, or you can serve open face on an Arnold's bun for a little something different!
